Vibes before Visuals

So, how does it work?

First, we really dig in and get a feel for who you are and where you're headed. This isn’t just a quick Google search—it’s full-on creative stalking (legal and totally not weird). 

We look at:

  • What’s catching eyes in your industry (and what’s not).
  • What your audience expects—or might not even know they want.
  • What’s working visually for you now, and what’s ready for a glow-up.

We start to build:

  • Visual references from like-minded brands and industries.
  • Bits and pieces of your current look that spark something.
  • A collection of typefaces, imagery, textures, and tones that could give your brand personality - nothing final, just directional. 

Then we take our findings, all those floating ideas, half-formed thoughts, and visual references and pull them into one place. Basically, it’s a collage—but it’s strategic. 

Mood Board Magic

Next, we mock up the mood boards. No locked-in designs yet - but all those pretty things we found during our creative stalking that lend to "this might be the vibe." We’ll prepare 3-4 style options and present them in a workshop-like environment. 

Some of what you’ll see will come from brands in your space. Some might be from a totally different industry. Sometimes, the best inspo comes from pieces of your current brand - remixed.

During this workshop, we want you to tell us how you really feel about each presented style option. Don’t hold back, we can handle it. Your feedback during this stage is invaluable!

Mood boarding helps us (and you):

  • Explore different visual directions without the pressure of picking only one
  • Brainstorm what feels right and what doesn’t before we get too far down the road
  • Get your team and decision-makers on the same page early on

  • Color palette + type system – crafting the feel of your brand at a glance
