Some places don't just house your business, they help shape it. Thrive Alpharetta was that place for us.
We called Thrive Alpharetta home from 2021 until we outgrew it. Which honestly, isn’t a bad problem for a creative firm to have. Mike started there solo, trading in his home office for a desk and a whole lot more energy. Then the team started growing. Then it grew some more.Thrive flexed with us every step of the way, from a one-seater desk to a private office, tossing in monthly networking events, member lunches and our favorite, free beer Fridays.
Here's why it worked so well for so long, and why we still pass by it almost every day.
Location, location, location
Downtown Alpharetta has quietly become one of the best walkable small cities in the suburbs of Atlanta. From Thrive, you could hop to ramen, breweries, elevated Southern soul food, or a tennis club chicken salad without ever needing your car, or Mike's scooter (on lovely days he remains committed to this lifestyle choice).
We love this area so much that when it was time to get our own space, we didn't go far. Mr. White Creative's studio is now at 92 Milton Ave, Suite 300. A mere two blocks from Thrive. We walk past it on almost every lunch break or coffee run. Some things just don't need to change.
Locally owned, community-minded
What drew us to Thrive wasn't just the nice conference rooms and fast WiFi (though those helped). It was that each Thrive location is locally owned and operated, even as they've scaled across five states. As a small local business, we wanted to support one. Their monthly events; happy hours, breakfasts and lunches featuring local vendors and traveling bartenders made it feel less like an office and more like a community.
That community ethos stuck with us. It's part of why we built our own studio with the same intention: a space that feels alive, collaborative, and genuinely fun to work in.
The space made the work better
Thrive was on-brand for Mr. White Creative. It’s fun, clean, and professional but never stuffy. The kind of place where you could host a birthday party for the whole team and still make it to a client meeting on the same day.
We've carried that same energy into Suite 300 @ 92 Milton. Different walls, same vibe, a few extra office dogs, but now it's entirely ours.
Still need a coworking space in downtown Alpharetta?
Thrive was great to us for years, and we're happy to say so. If you're a freelancer, remote worker, or small team looking for a flexible, community-driven workspace, we'd point you there without hesitation.
